Sealaska Government Services is seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our internal team on-site in downtown Seattle, WA. The Payroll Specialist will work under the direction of the Payroll Manager and be responsible for processing multi-state, multi-subsidiary payrolls ensuring all essential functions are completed timely and accurately.
This is a full time position includes a benefits package, competitive compensation, paid leave and reimbursement of transit or parking costs (up the IRS limit). The successful candidate will join a team of finance professionals supporting a number of our subsidiaries in a complex environment including both the government and commercial services sectors.
Who We Are:
Sealaska Government Services (SGS) was established in 2014 and is a subsidiary of our parent company Sealaska; an Alaska Native Owned Corporation founded in 1972. SGS provides support services for a number of SGS owned subsidiaries performing a variety of services including construction, environmental remediation, data analytics and project management to a wide range of government agencies and private industry clients.
Our office is ideally located in the vibrant downtown Seattle area with excellent dining, shopping and cultural activities and we offer a flexible and casual work environment with a growing finance staff of 15 individuals. The office is located along major bus routes as well as the University street light rail terminal.
