Sealaska Technical Services is seeking a part-time qualified Receptionist to provide support to our administrative, facilities, and executive staff on-site at our corporate offices in Richland, Washington.

  • Serve as the primary contact for all communications coming to our offices via telephone, e-mail, and direct
  • Communicate courteously and effectively with employees, vendors, and visitors in a professional manner and direct them to appropriate staff
  • Notify the building management of situations that require immediate attention.
  • Maintain employee phone lists, staff position title lists and make updates in a timely manner.
  • Notify appropriate staff when important mail or special packages arrive and assist in large mail out projects
  • Organize and maintain kitchen, conference and general office space.
  • Oversee incoming and outgoing office mail, shipments, and shipping supplies
  • Coordinate travel/lodging/rental cars for staff as needed
  • Coordinate visitor meetings, agendas, and activities
  • Coordinate employee social functions and events
  • Perform filing, note taking and other support functions
  • Manage visitor log and badge tracking system
  • Schedule and organize meetings, coordinate catering and events
  • Monitor office supply levels and prepare purchase requests
  • Other duties as assigned


  • High School diploma and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role required. Advanced degree preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, telephone etiquette, and the ability to deal with all types of callers and visitors in a professional manner.
  • Excellent computer skills and deep knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to exercise a high degree of professionalism, sensitivity and tact, in all contacts with the public and employees, including high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to prioritize work, adjust to changing priorities, be self-motivated, and to work under pressure.
  • Ability to deal with highly sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to operate phone system, computers, and other standard office equipment.
  • Knowledge and ability to organize and maintain paper and electronic computer files.
  • Must have good organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be accurate, detailed and thorough, with good writing skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
