    Sealaska Timber Company is seeking a Carbon Project Administrator in southeast Alaska. You will be responsible for the administration of ongoing carbon projects including their continued field monitoring, administrative reporting and maintenance. This role will work closely with Sealaska partners in the Native community forest partnership projects underway, become familiar with Sealaska's land management activities as well as other regional stakeholders. And assist with the siliviculture program management as needed. 


    • Become knowledgeable with the carbon credit program and Sealaska’s role in it.  Actively administer the projects and all associated field work.
    • Fulfill Sealaska’s position as the lead partner in the Native community forest partnership programs in both Hoonah and Kake. 
    • Become familiar with Sealaska’s silviculture program, including PCT, tree planting, seed gathering, stream studies, etc. 
    • Assist and supply the GIS department with natural resource information as needed. 
    • Manage the Sealaska mitigation bank program.
    • Attend regional land management and environmental meetings and seminars that are essential to Sealaska’s own land management goals. 
    • Other duties as assigned.


    • B.S. in Natural Resources Management or related field.
    • Familiarity with computer systems and programs related to natural resources management.
    • Must be willing to travel by float plane, boat or helicopter as needed.
    • Must be willing to do field work on Sealaska lands.
