    Sealaska is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst in the Seattle, WA area. The Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting all functionalities within the Deltek suite of products.  This person works closely with the end-users to understand business objectives and provide daily support activities.  The day-to-day support activities include but are not limited to:

    • End user support for ERP products such as CostPoint 7, Gov2Win, and Cognos
    • Production of documentation of accounting and technical procedures
    • Application maintenance and testing for both ERP and related proprietary applications
    • Administration and support of the IBM Cognos Business Intelligence reporting tool
    • Creation of Microsoft SQL scripts


    Strategy & Planning

    • The Financial Systems Analyst, in coordination with the IT Manager, is responsible for identifying, defining, recommending and implementing ERP system enhancements and upgrades.

    Acquisition & Deployment

    • Participate in the design and deployment of enterprise resource planning (ERP) and associated business intelligence (BI) tools.

    Operational Management

    • Manage ERP and BI systems and associated infrastructure.
    • Troubleshoots basic application malfunctions.
    • Serves as primary liaison between ERP end users and the IT department
    • In association with the IT Manager, works with all staff levels in assessing needs for various business functions
    • Responsible for daily application maintenance activities.
    • Documents system maintenance processes and proper configurations for ERP applications.
    • Supports system testing activates including performing test cases, documenting results, and reporting findings to stakeholders.
    • Monitors the appropriate user security is applied to the ERP system and performs routine audits.
    • Practice network asset management, include maintenance of network component inventory and related written documentation and technical specification information.
    • Tasked with creating BI report templates based on business need.
    • Develops and tests Microsoft SQL scripts for ERP and BI reporting.
    • Other duties as assigned.


    Formal Education & Certification

    • College diploma or university degree in the field of finance, business administration, or computer science.
    • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or six years of functionally supporting a corporation accounting department.
    • Microsoft Certified Solution Associate: SQL Server 2012 or 2008 or four years of supporting Microsoft SQL may be substituted for this requirement.

    Knowledge & Experience

    • In depth knowledge of Deltek enterprise resource planning applications and IBM business intelligence tools.
    • Ability to provide remote support for end users of Deltek ERP and IBM BI applications
    • Experience configuring, maintaining, and supporting Deltek ERP installations.
    • Experience creating Microsoft SQL scripts for use in conjunction with ERP and BI applications.
    • Working technical knowledge of system security concepts.
    • Hands-on accounting experience.
    • Ability to travel: 15%.

    Preferred but not required:

    • IBM Certified Administrator: Cognos 10 certification
    • CompTIA Project+ certification
    • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

    Additional Requirements:

    Position is subject to satisfactory completion of a background check, reference check. A valid driver’s license is also required for this position.
