At the Sealaska Technical Services (STS) Los Alamos office, the Water Program team provides groundwater and surface water monitoring and water remediation services associated with legacy contamination from past operations at Los Alamos National Laboratory. This intern position will provide for a hands-on learning experience across a range of projects. Opportunities include groundwater and surface water sampling, operation of a pump-and-treat system removing hexavalent chromium from the aquifer, well maintenance, waste management, and data management, interpretation, and reporting. Specific scope will be based on active projects at the time the applicant is accepted into the program.
