  • Overview

    Learn the fundamentals of forestry working on a variety of projects throughout Prince of Wales Island in southeast Alaska, potentially include but not limited to: timber cruising, silviculture, environmental monitoring, common forestry and field tools, wilderness navigation (map & compass use), basic forestry skills, stream measurement techniques for quantifying fish habitat, wetlands and wetland delineation, principles of statistical investigation, and GPS data collection and GPS navigation.

    Qualifications
