    Similar to the forest technician intern, you’ll learn a variety of field related tasks during your summer internship, potentially including but not limited to: environmental monitoring, carbon sequestration, wilderness navigation (map & compass use), stream measurement techniques for quantifying fish habitat, wetlands and wetland delineation, principles of statistical investigation, and GPS data collection and GPS navigation among others. 

    Degree type sought:  NR management, sciences (wildlife biology, fisheries, chemistry, geology).

    Location: Based in Klawock area, Prince of Wales Island, Alaska but heavy field work throughout the summer in various locations throughout southeast Alaska depending on active tasks
