T2S is a full-service engineering and environmental consulting company with a worldwide reach in the areas of environmental monitoring and remediation, national security, systems engineering, data management and analytics for both federal and commercial customers. 


We are currently seeking an experienced Deputy Program Manager to oversee its program management office at the Los Alamos Legacy Cleanup project in Los Alamos, New Mexico. You must be a US citizen residing within the US, and this role will be required to pass a DOE clearance. 


  • Working with the Program Director provide leadership and a vision for safe and cost-effective execution of the Water Program at Los Alamos
  • Verifies the implementation of safety and quality programs by the field staff
  • Lead development of regulatory strategies and interface with the regulators
  • Lead preparation and negotiation of performance-based incentives and prepare the quarterly award fee self-assessment in accordance with a Performance Evaluation Management Plan.
  • Verify field operations activities in accordance with the processes and procedures including the quality and safety requirements of the project
  • Ensure proper execution of the project including planning, scheduling, procurement, project controls and financial performance and compliance with company procedures
  • In conjunction with the project leads develop, plan, and execute business goals and objectives which support the project team, financial milestones, and the client objectives
  • Grow the business through development of a strong network of business partnerships
  • Develop community relationships through outreach
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with client representatives and key decision makers and achieve client satisfaction in all areas of performance
  • Manage recruitment, hiring, and staff assignments
  • Manage and mentor technical staff
  • Assure business practices align with Contract terms
  • Assure all financial metrics are met and maximized through sound financial management
  • Coordinate with all service leads, HR, Finance, Contracts, Procurement, in managing the detailed aspects of the project
  • Lead and maintain a strong safety culture across the project team in compliance with the subcontract requirements and N3B processes and procedures


  • 20+ years in a consulting environment with strong project management and operations experience
  • The candidate will have a BS or BA degree in an engineering or geo-science field
  • Professional Project Manager certification is preferred
  • Experience in water remediation preferred
  • Long-term record of successful business relationships with federal government clients and teaming partners
  • Familiarity with Department of Energy regulations and requirements, contracting practices, and cleanup site conduct of operations
  • Holds a DOE Q Clearance or can attain the required clearance (requires one must be a U.S. Citizen)
  • Employment for this position will be subject to all relevant laws, regulations, orders, and the like and may require full vaccination against COVID-19, weekly testing, or other precautionary measures. Based on the Executive Orders issued by President Biden in September 2021, roles working on or in connection with a federal contract, or working at a federal-contractor’s workplace, will require full vaccination against COVID-19; roles which are unrelated to federal contracts will be subject to OSHA’s Emergency Temporary Standard relating to vaccination in the workplace, which applies to organizations with 100+ employees.
  • Federal Acquisition Regulations knowledge preferred
