New England Seafood International (NESI) was established in 1991 and is an importer and processor of premium fresh and frozen sustainable fish and seafood. NESI employs circa 600 people across two sites in the UK and imports a wide range of wild and farmed fish and shellfish from all around the world.

Overview of the Role (Operational Excellence Intern):
Come and apply your business administration education at New England Seafood International during summer 2023! Working with our teams, you will gain experience in the various elements of an Operations function including the day-to-day management of a factory plant, continuous improvement techniques and how these are applied, and develop your operational excellence knowledge.
This immersive experience is designed to give you hands-on practice applying your education to the real world. Operations is a very diverse field and the purpose of this internship is to provide you with multiple opportunities in this area so that you can see what sparks your interest. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to complete a special project of your choice during your internship which you will agree with your line manager during your first week in NESI. This is an opportunity to use everything you have learned in school and put your skills into practice over the summer through this international internship program.
This internship will provide the successful applicant an opportunity to spend time in a fast-paced manufacturing business based out of London, UK. This program will focus on developing you and your leadership skills, as well as supporting you to expand your business knowledge at an international level.
